With lighter DT-Swiss 240s hubs and aero Sapim spokes, these are the faster wheels. The larger volume tires on the 650B wheels have the same outer diameter as a 700c wheel with smaller tires. This keeps the frame geometry the same for both wheel sizes, but the 650B wheel has more tire and can be inflated to lower air pressure, which allows you to experience rough terrain with more stability, comfort, and confidence on a standard gravel bike with a drop-bar.
